A. Close. 1463.

{1:39}
Q. As a Marketing Director you have your hand in fundraising as well?
A. Yes, we assist the Development Director in getting the word out to the community about donation drives or fundraising campaigns.

{1:56}
Q. How is Chelsea the coolest person in Parks and Recreation?
A. She plays bass in the band The Whiskey Shadows. She has her eye on fashion. And don’t forget she knows marketing!

{2:21}
Q. What is the name of your session? And what do you feel your session has to offer attendees?
A.
– S’more Marketing. Saturday, January 26th at 10:15am
– We will talk about how to collaborate within your agency between the Marketing Department and other departments.
– Plus cheap marketing ideas and social media tips. We will answer questions like: When do I post? How can I do ads? Who do I target?

Q. What is in a Brand Style Guide?
A.
– Logo, how to use it.
– Colors
– Typography

– Photography Style
– Brand Voice

{8:00}
Q. What do you mean when you say “voice?”
A. The copywriting. Defining a brand voice is especially important if more than one person is posting to social media for your agency. For example, are you super casual with how you talk to your listener or participants? Or are you super formal?

{8:40}
Q. Why are Brand Style Guides helpful?
A.
– Remind us who we are.
Helps make really quick design decisions.

{9:19}
Q. As the gatekeeper of the Brand Style Guide what do you find most challenging?
A. It can be hard to maintain it; however, having a resource to answer the questions of “What are we trying to do here?” and “Who are we?” ultimately helps our audience know us and predict how to get information better. Plus the community can differentiate your agency from ones that are in a neighboring town.
